Review Of John Delavera’s Turbo Seminar

So, I just got back from John Delavera’s Turbo Seminar 1. I have to say that I really didn’t know what to expect, since this was my first big ticket seminar. What I learned and was exposed to has changed my life FOREVER!

Hearing from the likes of Mark Joyner, the founder of Simpleology and Construct Zero, two iconic websites and companies whose main goal is to help you to improve your business through getting to know and improving yourself. Mark doesn’t claim to believe in the “Law of Attraction“, but the principles that he teaches seem to have at least similar thought processes behind them.

Another of the dynamic speakers and teachers that we had on hand is Glenn Dietzl. Glen generally works only with Fortune 500 company’s CEO’s and elite management teams and his retainer is $100k. He emphasized to us the importance of putting a value on our intellectual property in order to protect our business and our integrity. It was an amazing 90 minutes full of super high energy coaching that was worth the cost of the entire seminar.

Unfortunately the weather and illness kept some of the speakers from appearing. We never got to hear from Willie Crawford who is a joint venture magician and an excellent marketer.

We also never got to hear Ken McArthur. I have to say that Ken was probably the speaker I most anticipated hearing. It’s unfortunate that he was unable to attend. Ken would have spoken to a number of audience members, basically doing a short interview, then he would have put people together that could and should work together based on the similarity or synergy of their stories. Vegas Bound For Turbo Seminar

Well it’s 8 am and I’m sitting at Logan Airport in Boston waiting to board my flight for Las Vegas to attend John Delavera’s Turbo Seminar.

I’ve been a Turbo member for almost two years, was personally mentored by John and have been a member of one of his product creation teams. The experiences that I’ve had with Mr. Delavera far exceeded any expectations that I had for myself in the Internet Marketing world.

Who else do you know out here in the InterWeb that is as prolific and as generous as JD? Seriously, he’s got hundreds of software and e-book titles with his name on them. He’s got thousands of affiliates willing to assist John in growing his empire at the drop of an e-mail.

When you take a closer look at the memberships that JD offers, it dwarfs any other memberships that I’ve ever seen. 95% commission on dozens and dozens of high quality products….are you kidding me? It doesn’t get any better than this.

…Anyway, back to the subject matter at hand. This is the first annual Turbo Seminar and the first major venture since John Delavera and Mark Joyner decided to partner up and improve both of their already hugely successful businesses.

I’m not sure what to expect other than the value packed, educational and informative content that I’ve come to know, being associated with both of these gurus for a few years.

There are going to be 11 different speakers at this seminar from Ken McArthur to Willie Crawford and many others. I expect to come away from this meeting of the minds with a renewed zeal for my own Internet Marketing efforts and some fresh energy for new projects.

I’m thrilled at the prospect of being able to possibly JV with some of these greats. These meetings can be life changing, and that’s the intent that I have for this one with myself.

I’ll make updates all weekend so that you can hear firsthand what’s been going on and what I’m learning. This should be a FUN ride.

THE GOLD STANDARD: PAY PER CLICK

Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising has been the standard bearer in online advertising models. It all started with the Google search engine that began using keywords that people searched in their engine to determine where to place ads through a content-generated ad placement system.

By combining the power of the Google search engine and tracking keywords, advertisers could set up ad campaigns based on very highly targeted niche topics. This insured that when an ad showed up on a site, it was relevant to the audience, who would be more inclined to click on the ad since it would interest that demographic.

ADSENSE VS. ADWORDS

In Google’s program, there are two programs that a person can sign up with to use pay-per-click advertising: AdSense and AdWords. AdSense is the program that publishers of pay-per-click advertising use to generate income by adding Google ads to their online content. AdWords is the program where online merchants can create pay-per-click campaigns using keywords so that publishers can expose them to their markets.

There are ways to make money with either of these models, whether as a publisher or as a merchant. Pay-per-click marketing isn’t just limited to people who publish pay-per-click links and get paid per every click generated.

There is far more to making money with pay-per-click marketing than that. However, the most popular and well-known way to make money with pay-per-click advertising is as a publisher, for several reasons.

PPC PUBLISHERS

The main reason that people like to implement PPC publishing as a strategy to make money online is because it costs them nothing, except time, to do. If you have a large enough audience or know how to attract traffic to links, you can make a good amount of money by simply posting links that other people will click on, and thus, create income for yourself.

It does take some understanding of keywords, and we will go over that a little later on. Suffice it to say, for now; if you want to start using PPC marketing in your lineup of potential money makers, then PPC is the easiest way to go. Ads are generated automatically on your sites based on the content that you post.

The Dark Side Of CPA Marketing

CPA or cost per acquisition marketing is growing in popularity because of it’s higher payouts and a “set it and forget it” ease. Black hat marketers can ruin an entire market if left to operate unchecked.

Although CPA networks (those who provide the offers for you) do a fair job of policing their members there are unscrupulous “black hat” marketers that are gaining your information through misleading methods and profiting from their misdeeds.

As an example, more and more people in this tough economy are out of and looking for work. There are thousands more people using sites like **Gregslist** (the names have been changed to protect the innocent) to search for a job to make ends meet.

While you think you’re applying to, let’s say, an office manager‘s position; once you send off your resume the harassing phone calls begin almost immediately. It seems that the telemarketing companies may be involved in the grand scheme of things as well, just try to speak to a superior or manager once you’re on the phone. GOOD LUCK!

You’ll get marketed by insurance companies, refinance companies, debt consolidation companies, etc. Basically, all of the highest paying CPA offers that are out there being horribly exploited by bottom feeding profit mongers.

The lesson I’m trying to convey here is to beware. The dark marketers are out there and anyone is susceptible to their traps. (Present company included)
